My Chiropractic Journey

I grew up right here in Gering, NE on a farm. I was introduced to conservative health care by my parents after experiencing a back injury on the farm. Once I discovered that I could be helped without the use of drugs or surgery, I decided my life long dream of being a doctor should follow the course of chiropractic health care.

Chiropractic Education

I attended Northwestern University of Health and Science (NWUHS) in Minneapolis and National University of Health Science (NUHS) in Lombard, Illinois where I graduated cum laude in 1973. Fellow in the Acupuncture Society of America (FASA) I began practice in Pine Bluffs, WY and practiced there for 6 years before building this clinic and relocating to Gering in 1979.

Chiropractic Philosophy

My belief in the value of Chiropractic care is so strong, that not only have I served patients for over 38 years, but I have worked diligently to elevate the chiropractic profession and help gain acceptance in the health care community. I have served as President of both the Wyoming Chiropractic Association (WCA) and the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association (NCPA) and most recently the American Chiropractic Association (ACA). In addition I served on the Chiropractic Board of Nebraska for ten years and now serve as the chiropractic member on the Board of Health for the State of Nebraska.

We Are A Chiropractic Family

My family includes my wife, Bobbi, son David and daughter, Melissa and their combined 7 children and spouses all of whom receive regular chiropractic adjustments to keep them healthy and handle the day to day bumps and falls. I also receive regular adjustments as well to maintain my health and vitality.

Chiropractic is not just a health choice it is a way of life for millions of patients. I hope to share my excitement over helping patients naturally and to help them to help others as well. I look forward to meeting you and serving as your health coach as well as gaining your confidence.

Our staff and I consider it an honor, that of all the health care offices you could choose, you chose Wills Chiropractic Clinic, P.C.

My Chiropractic Mission

My mission in chiropractic is to expose all who I come in contact with the benefits of better health through chiropractic care. It is also to promote chiropractic as an integral part of the health care system. I believe chiropractic care is for the whole family. My dedication and commitment is to help families live healthier and happier lives through the use of chiropractic and acupuncture techniques. Acupuncture is a great adjunct to chiropractic care and allows me to treat a wider range of conditions.

WHY CHIROPRACTIC?

I grew up a native of the valley in Torrington, WY. I was first introduced to a chiropractic while dealing with debilitating digestive and intestinal issues in high school. After going through a wide range of medical procedures, it was chiropractic that gave me the best results. My belief and desire to become a chiropractor only grew stronger when my father, who lost his battle with cancer in 1998, gained great relief of his pain by getting adjustments from the chiropractor during this time.

Chiropractic Education and Memberships

I did the majority of my undergraduate work at the University of Wyoming. I then attended Cleveland Chiropractic College, in Kansas City, MO, and graduated with my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 2003. I am certified in Acupuncture from the American Society of Acupuncture. I hold licenses to practice in both Nebraska and Wyoming.

I currently serve on the board of the Nebraska Chiropractic Physicians Association. I am a member of the government advisory cabinet with American Chiropractic Association. I currently serve as the co-chair of the government affairs committee for the Scottsbluff-Gering United Chamber of Commerce and serve and am a member of the LB 840 review committee for the City of Scottsbluff.

My Family and Hobbies

My family includes my wonderful wife, Reine, and our two children Jacob and Zachary as well as our dog Bo. My family, as well as myself, receive regular chiropractic treatments to keep us healthier. When I am not in the office I enjoy spending time outdoors playing golf, hunting, and watersports.
